The RIAMS Advanced Fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine is built for doctors who are serious about beginning independent aesthetic practice - and not simply learning aesthetic procedures.

The RIAMS Fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine is a 6 month clinical training program created for doctors who have undergone prior training in aesthetics but do not yet feel confident enough to begin practicing independently. Most doctors enter aesthetic medicine through short workshops or limited procedural exposure - programs that rarely prepare doctors for independently treating patients in their practice.

Conducted under the academic auspices of PAAFPRS and ISFPRS, the fellowship covers facial injectables, regenerative medicine, lasers, patient consultations, treatment planning, complication management and clinical decision-making. Every component is built around one goal: preparing doctors not just to learn aesthetic medicine, but to start practicing it.

RIAMS Advanced Fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine

What Makes RIAMS Advanced Fellowship Unique?

Patient Management

Each fellow is personally assigned patients across individual aesthetic indications, participating in every stage of treatment independently - from consultation and assessment to treatment planning, patient communication, procedural execution and follow-up. The goal is learning to manage real patients with confidence.

Patient Volume

Every fellow performs substantial procedural volume on multiple patients. Individual patients are allocated across a full range of aesthetic procedures and indications including fillers and botulinum toxin - developing the confidence required to perform treatments independently.

Semi-Private Practice

Additional semi-private mentorship days conducted after core clinical training let fellows bring their own patients and independently perform treatments under direct supervision - a gradual transition from supervised learning to treating patients on their own.

Post-Fellowship Support

Access to a dedicated digital learning platform with lecture modules, examinations, procedural videos and academic material. Fellows continue to have access to scheduled doubt-clearing sessions with faculty, webinars and clinical discussions even after completion.

“This program was a total game changer for me. Despite completing multiple courses before, I never had the confidence to actually inject. My experience at RIAMS gave me the clarity and courage I was missing all along. I now feel truly ready to practice independently. Highly recommend this to every doctor who’s still hesitant to take that first real step.”
