Your skin
remembers
everything.

"The body is not separate from the earth.
What nourishes the root, nourishes the flower."
— Charaka Samhita, 600 BCE

Begin the story
Chapter One

Something has
changed in
your skin.

You wake up and your skin feels different from how it felt at 22. Not dramatically — just a quiet shift. A little less bounce. A little more tightness. A glow that used to come easily, now doesn't.

You've tried products. Hydrating serums. Rich creams. Brightening formulas. Some help temporarily. None seem to last.

That's not a product problem. That's a Rasa problem.

25
The age at which Rasa Dhatu — your skin's primary tissue fluid — begins its first measurable decline. Most people notice nothing yet. The skin is already changing beneath the surface.
30%
Reduction in natural skin hydration capacity by age 35, as Rasa pathways slow. This is not simple dryness — it is tissue-level water loss that no topical cream alone can fully address.
5000
Years ago, Ayurvedic physicians understood this decline and developed Rasayana — a sequential system of tissue restoration. The same intelligence now lives in every Iraa Ve formulation.
Chapter Two — The Ancient Answer

Ayurveda never
treated the surface.

For 5,000 years, Ayurvedic physicians understood something modern dermatology is only now confirming: skin health begins in the tissues, not on the skin.

The Dhatus — Seven Living Tissues

Ayurveda describes the body as seven layered tissues called Dhatus. Rasa (plasma/fluid) is the first — and most vulnerable. When Rasa declines, the skin loses its ability to hold water, maintain elasticity and sustain natural radiance. Every other tissue is affected downstream. Nourishing Rasa is not cosmetic. It is physiological.

The Doshas — Your Skin's Biological Blueprint

Vata (air), Pitta (fire), Kapha (earth) — three biological forces that govern how your skin ages, hydrates and behaves. Ayurveda does not offer a single formula. It offers an understanding of your skin's nature — and then nourishes accordingly. This is the intelligence that separates Rasayana from routine skincare.

Rasayana — The Path of Essence

Rasayana literally means "path of essence" — a system designed to slow decline, restore vitality and rebuild tissue intelligence. It is not anti-ageing in the modern sense of fighting signs. It is pro-living — nourishing the root so that radiance, softness and glow are the natural result. This is the entire framework behind Iraa Ve.

Chapter Three — Rasa Dhatu

Why your skin is
dehydrated
at the root.

Rasa Dhatu — the first of the seven tissues — is the body's primary fluid matrix. It governs skin plumpness, smoothness, hydration and that lit-from-within luminosity.

When Rasa declines through age, stress, climate or diet — skin loses bounce, barrier strength and natural glow. No amount of surface hydration compensates for a depleted Rasa Dhatu. Restoration must begin at the tissue level.

Iraa Ve's approach: restore Rasa first, then seal and nourish with Sneh. Two steps. Classical sequence. Compounding results.

1
Rasa Dhatu
Plasma · Fluid · Luminosity

The first to decline. Governs skin's water-holding capacity, plumpness and natural glow. SOMA targets this directly.

2
Rakta Dhatu
Blood · Circulation · Colour

Governs skin tone, warmth and radiance. Nourished when Rasa is first restored.

3
Mamsa Dhatu
Muscle · Firmness · Structure

Governs skin's structural firmness and facial fullness — dependent on healthy Rasa above.

Twak — The Skin
The Outer Expression

The skin is a mirror of all Dhatus. Glow, clarity and suppleness are downstream of tissue health — not results of surface treatments.

25+
Early Decline

Rasa Dhatu begins subtle depletion. TEWL slowly rises. Skin may feel slightly less plump after cleansing. The ideal time to begin SOMA.

28+
Lipid Decline

Natural lipid production begins slowing. Skin needs unctuous nourishment alongside hydration. The ideal time to begin SNEH.

35+
Tone & Repair

Complexion refinement and barrier repair become priorities. Full Rasayana ritual delivers compounding results from this age onward.

Chapter Four — The Herbs

Not ingredients.
Living intelligence.

Each herb is extracted through classical Ayurvedic methods — Five-Fold Decoction, Sneha-Paka — that unlock the plant's full therapeutic spectrum. Functional pharmacology, not flavouring.

🌱
Ushira
Vetiver Root

A classical Rasayana root whose underground network retains water in the driest soil. Ayurveda applies the same principle within the skin — stabilising Rasa pathways and cooling the subtle inflammation that accelerates dehydration. Extracted through Five-Fold Decoction for full-spectrum bioavailability.

🌹
Shatapatra
Rose Distillate

Not rose fragrance. True Rosa Centifolia distillate — harvested at dawn when aromatic compounds peak. In Ayurveda, Rose is Hridya (heart-nourishing) and Varnya (complexion-enhancing). It harmonises fluid balance and refines skin comfort — keeping Rasa stable throughout the day.

Yashtimadhu
Licorice Root

One of Ayurveda's most revered skin herbs. Yashtimadhu is simultaneously Varnya (complexion-enhancing), Rasayana (rejuvenating), Sheet (cooling) and Twachya (skin-nurturing). Its active compound is a potent natural brightener. Extracted through classical Five-Fold Decoction — the most bioavailable and therapeutically complete form.

Eladi Taila
Cardamom Oil Blend

A classical Ayurvedic oil preparation where Ela (Cardamom) is infused through Sneha-Paka — a slow, controlled extraction that transfers fat-soluble actives into oil at full potency. Traditionally prescribed for skin detoxification, complexion refinement and circulation support. Cardamom provides potent antioxidant and antimicrobial action.

Chapter Five — The Ritual

Two steps.
One unbroken
ritual.

Rasayana works sequentially. Rasa before Sneh. Hydration before Nourishment. Each step amplifies the next — creating a compounding effect that deepens over weeks, not hours.

01
🌿
Cleanse. Begin on damp skin.

Slightly damp skin enhances absorption of humectants in SOMA. This small act creates the ideal surface for Rasa restoration. Think of it as preparing the soil before planting.

02
💧
Press SOMA into the skin.

Warm 2–3 drops between fingertips. Press — don't rub — into skin. Vetiver Kadha stabilises Rasa pathways. Multi-weight Hyaluronic Acid and Polyglutamic Acid draw water from the air and deeper layers simultaneously. Wait 60 seconds.

🌸
Seal with SNEH. Lock the Rasa.

Warm a small amount between fingertips. Press over SOMA. Licorice Kadha and Eladi Taila seal the hydration, nourish deeper Dhatus and begin the slow brightening work of Rasayana. Finish: soft satin glow — not oily, not matte.

🌸 SNEH — Licorice Eladi Moisturiser
04
☀️
Morning: protect with SPF.

SNEH forms a smooth base that sits beautifully under sunscreen and makeup. The ritual is complete in under 3 minutes. AM and PM, every day. Rasayana compounds with consistency.

What Rasayana Feels Like

Visible results,
week by week.

Week 1 – 2
Comfort Returns

The tightness after cleansing eases. Skin feels less reactive, more settled. The pulling sensation begins to release. Rasa restoration is beginning.

Week 4 – 6
Radiance Emerges

Skin appears naturally luminous and plump. Complexion becomes visibly healthier, balanced and quietly radiant. The glow is not applied — it is your Rasa Dhatu, restored.

Week 8 +
Rasayana Deepens

Barrier strength, elasticity, complexion clarity — all improve together. The skin now sustains its own glow from well-nourished Dhatus. This is Rasayana compounding.

Common Questions

Things people
always ask.

Should SNEH always be used after SOMA? +
Yes — always. SOMA restores hydration at the Rasa Dhatu level. SNEH seals, nourishes and expresses the glow from that hydration. Each amplifies the other. One without the other is incomplete Rasayana.
I have oily skin — can I use SOMA? +
Yes. Dehydrated oily skin is extremely common — the skin overproduces oil to compensate for lost water. SOMA adds water, not oil. It will not increase oiliness. Many oily skin types find their skin naturally balances with consistent Rasa restoration.
Will SNEH brighten my skin? +
SNEH supports natural radiance through Licorice (Yashtimadhu) — classified in Ayurveda as Varnya (complexion-enhancing). This is not bleaching or depigmentation. It is restoring the skin's own Kanti — the Ayurvedic word for radiant glow — through Rasayana.
When should I start? I'm in my early 20s. +
SOMA is ideal from 25+ when Rasa Dhatu begins subtle decline. If you have dry or dehydrated skin, or live in AC-heavy environments, start at 20+. Rasayana earlier is preventive — it maintains hydration physiology before decline becomes visible.
Is SNEH greasy or heavy feeling? +
No. SNEH offers unctuous nourishment — Snigdha in Ayurveda — without oiliness. The finish is a soft satin glow. It sits beautifully under sunscreen and makeup without pilling or congesting. Snigdha Index: ●●○○
Are the formulas safe for sensitive skin? +
Both use EWG safe + CIR approved modern actives combined with gentle Ayurvedic decoctions. No synthetic fragrance in either product — only natural botanical aromatics. Patch test is recommended for highly reactive skin.
The Rasayana Ritual

Your glow was
never lost.
Only waiting.

Rasa Dhatu has a memory. Nourish it consistently — with the right intelligence, in the right sequence — and it remembers how to glow.
